What exactly is a Design Retainer Service?
Retainer design services are a type of ongoing design support where a client pays a recurring fee (usually monthly) to secure a set amount of design time or services from me. Monthly retainer clients gain brand consistency, peace of mind and of course job priority for your monthly marketing needs. Here's how it typically works
How does the Design Retainer Service work?
I think the easiest way to think of it is as a monthly subscription service to my design services. You pay upfront at the beginning of each month in order to reserve a specific number of hours on my design schedule. This works great for social media graphics, small website updates, marketing materials and the like. It allows you to receive professionally designed materials without the fluctuating fees or deadline constraints.
What’s included in the monthly packages
My packages range in hours from 5 per month all the way up to 30 per month. As for the types of design items, included, here is a list:
Digital Materials – email templates, blog banners and other web graphics/updates.
Web Updates and Maintenance - content, graphics and website maintenance. Currently for Squarespace only.
Social Media Design – Instagram post or story templates, Pinterest graphics, Facebook advertisements, etc.
Additional Services - if you don’t see a service above, please feel free to make a request to see if it would fall under the program.

HOW IT WORKS

Fill out the contact form. We'll take a peek and get back to you to set up a discovery call. We would like to get to know you, what your business is about, and whether we would be a good fit. - that’s important to us!

Once it’s decided we are a good fit, we’ll discuss scheduling you in our design calendar through a signed contract and an initial installment and provide you with our branding questionnaire. Once the branding questionnaire have been filled in, it’s time to get the party started!

Now it’s time to bring your vision to life! We work with our clients one at a time, and most of our projects are booked in three to four weeks slots. We will work in collaboration with you to bring your vision to fruition. Throughout your scheduled time with us, we will be working with you to design, review, and launch!

Once everything is approved, the final deposit will be made and we’ll hand over your final packaged project. We’ll schedule a final meeting in case you have any additional questions.
