Spooktacular

Branding design for JBSA’s largest Halloween event

About

Spooktacular at Joint Base San Antonio is an annual Halloween celebration designed to captivate and delight a community of over 1,500 participants. This immersive event transforms the venue into a hauntingly enchanting wonderland, featuring meticulously crafted visual elements that enhance the festive atmosphere.

The event design incorporates an array of visually stunning components, including eerie-themed banners, and directional signage to guide attendees through a variety of activities. Large-scale installations such as spooky archways, inflatables, and cobweb-covered photo backdrops create Instagram-worthy moments while amplifying the Halloween spirit.

Key attractions include themed zones such as a haunted house, and a trick-or-treat trail, all brought to life through a cohesive visual design plan. Lighting effects, carefully selected color palettes of orange, black, and purple, and the strategic placement of eerie props, such as skeletons and jack-o'-lanterns, contribute to the immersive ambiance.

The event also features interactive design elements, such as digital displays and projection mapping, to engage participants of all ages. These details, combined with thoughtful branding and layout design, ensure that Spooktacular is a memorable experience for the Joint Base San Antonio community.
